Key Responsibilities

Outputs Groups Project Planning and Design
•         Joint analysis of the business’s operating model
•         Translation of the business requirements to IT requirements
•         Play a prominent role in the correct formulating a comprehensive backlog list with the
          team and business
•         Manager view of risks and mitigating action items for all development items on the
          project
•         Work with the Project manager to formulate all application stakeholders
•         Provide technical expertise to assist the Design Authority in developing an
          architectural proposal for a project
•         Formulation of realistic project estimations and sizing for development components

Project Execution
•         Develop Murex components in accordance to business use cases / stories (For   
          example Functional, workflows, reporting, Value-at-Risk) and in line with MCE Dev 
          standards.
•         Build relationships and technical ties with upstream and downstream areas to partner
           on delivery of tasks outside of the immediate team
•         Facilitate technical workshops to obtain practical solutions to project blockers
•         Document all technical changes
•         Escalate any risks to the relevant teams (vendor, management) and individuals (PM,
          Dev Lead)
•         Take ownership of all build testing of components which the individual has developed
•         Participate in the change control process relevant for the type of change
•         Support and provide handovers of all development items to the support team

Other
•        Train, mentor and grow juniors in both soft and practical skills
•        Assist in Murex portfolio planning and execution focussing on building functional
         (business knowledge) and technical capability (Murex and IT knowledge); and best  
         practises in the wider Murex team
